I spoke with the Elevate Internship Director, Michelle Gros, yesterday and she gave me my roommate assignments and told me about the areas I would be working in!
We will be living in Cypress Lakes Apartments (address TBA) and my roommates are 3 really good friends of mine (Joy, Shana and Kelly) and 2 girls I don't know yet but I'm sure I will soon!
I will be working at the HPC Spanish Campus in Gonzales, LA. I chose to work here because I really want to learn Spanish and have to opportunity to be immersed in another culture! I will also get to work with the youth group there on Wednesdays!
Another area I will get to work in is called "Elevate" a little confusing, but I will help plan all the stuff that we get to do as interns including our overseas mission trips! I am really pumped about this because I like planning events and organizing trips!
All of this new info is getting me excited about starting! Only 19 days to go!
